Top 100 at the Head of the River Race

A huge well done to the Senior Men’s 8+ for a solid performance at the Head of the River Race in London.

Despite the challenges of trying to get the eight all in one place when combining a bunch who are constantly on shift/working away/GB para trials/PDA camps (delete as appropriate), the crew has finished 99th, retaining yet again our top 100 position, and again being the fastest club eight in Yorkshire.

Huge thanks to the coaches, to all the guys in the squad who have subbed in when needed, and to Tyne Rowing Club for taking our boat south.

Finally a sad farewell to Miguel, for who this was his final race for Leeds. A stalwart of our senior men, we wish him well down in London! The Leeds nightlife will never be the same!
