Indoor success at NJIRC North

The juniors from Leeds Rowing Club bagged a huge medal haul at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC North). Rowing for their schools, juniors from across our Junior Rowing Academy medalled in every age category entered with some fierce racing - especially in the Year 11 boys event where only 4 metres separated our gold and silver medalists.

Thanks to London Youth Rowing for organising another amazing NJIRC North, and to all of the LYR staff, and volunteers (including many of our club seniors and junior coaches) and to their schools for their continued support of our Talent Inclusion programme, enabling us to find amazing potential from across schools in Leeds and West Yorkshire.
