Success at Tyne Head for the juniors
It was another great days racing at Tyne Head, with five wins, and a lot of second places against quality opposition. It was great day for the younger juniors who are already snapping away at the heels of the older juniors to get some experience of racing on a very different river than they are used to, and a chance for the rest of the juniors to get some extra tidal water racing done in preparation for Schools Head.
A huge thanks to all the coaches, volunteers, and supporters on the day. Special thanks to Ciaran for towing, to University of Leeds Boat Club for loaning us a bigger trailer and to Cross Keys Garage, Morley for their continued support to rowing in Leeds with the free use of one of their Isuzu 4x4’s.
As always a huge thanks to Tyne Amateur Rowing Club for another great event, and to Tyne United Rowing Club for their hospitality on the day.
