Peterborough Junior Regatta

The younger juniors had an outstanding day at Peterborough Junior Championships, with amazing performances throughout the regatta from all crews.

With a huge presence on lakeside (and the realisation that we’re going to need a bigger gazebo) the parents and supporters brought the noise at the finish line.

Once again the J14 and J15s went up against the big schools and clubs and showed we can be in the mix across all boat types making 12 A finals including 7 medals and in the process coming 4th in the Victor Ludorum - a huge increase from last years regatta where we won one medal.

A huge thanks to Keira’s dad for towing, to all of the parents and supporters for all of their enthusiasm and to Cross Keys Garage, Morley for their continued support with the free use of Isuzu DMax 4x4’s for towing, and to Peterborough City Rowing Club for another great regatta.

Finally a special thanks to the coaches and in particular J14 coach Matt in his final coaching appearance before he departs for his coaching gap year in Australia.
