NJIRC North

A squad of 63 strong took on the mighty National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC) North event. From Years 7 to 13 our athletes came out flying with 10 Golds, 5 Silvers, and 4 Bronzes added to the wins list!

Leeds Rowing Club had a clean sweep in the Senior Boys and Girls Relay events with our 6 boys and 5 girls teams all placing in the top 7 across both events (including gold, silver and bronze). The Junior Boys and Girls Relay events also claimed the gold for the boys and silver for the girls!

In the Year 11 Boys event, we dominated with 9 out of the top 10 places going to Leeds and just narrowly missing out on the British Record!
