Junior Sculling Head 2026

The Junior Rowing Academy ended the Head Season on a massive high with an outstanding day of racing at the National Junior Sculling Head at Dorney Lake.

The J16 boys quad put their marker down for the upcoming regatta season, coming 4th out of 41 crews, less than 3 seconds behind the Bronze medallists!

The J15 girls coxed quad equally stepped up with a solid 29th place finish out of 64 crews which was a huge step on in progress for this group with much more to come.

The J14 girls coxed quad had a thrilling race, with their hard work in training during the winter paying off with a fantastic 9th place finish out of 54 crews in their event.

Finally the J15 boys coxed quad finished the head season as they started with a commanding performance, the boys went out raced hard and bagged the Bronze medal, placing 3rd out of 64 crews.

A huge well done to the athletes who races, and to the entire Junior Academy programme who have pushed hard this season and raised the bar yet again, making this an outstanding effort from all.

Finally a special thanks to the coaching team and the parents who all make this happen, and to Cymba Racing for the loan of an SL Racing Quad this season. Your support has been invaluable to the juniors!
